Christopher graduated with a Diploma in Music Performance at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, majoring the Trumpet. His trumpet teachers are Kenneth Lun, David Smith, Ikebe Jun, Jon Dante and Richard Adams. Currently he is a freelancing musician, who perform and teach actively around Singapore. Christopher had performed with the Singapore Lyrics Opera Orchestra, Singapore National Youth Orchestra, The Orchestra of Music Makers, The Philharmonic Orchestra, Celebration Chorus Orchestra, Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts Orchestra, Volker Hartung Swing Orchestra, The Orchestra Collective The Philharmonic Winds Orchestra and Audio Image Wind Ensemble In 2008, Christopher won 3rd prize in the Brass, Woodwinds and Percussion category entered the Finals and got 4th place in the NAFA Music Essential Concerto Competition. In the same year, Christopher was featured as soloist performing a jazz ballade "I remember Clifford" in the OBOG Wind symphony's inaugural concert. In 2010, Christopher was fortunate to tour Vietnam, Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi during the Asean Summit meeting performing 3 concerts with the Asian Symphony Orchestra, an orchestra consisting of professional musician all around the Asean countries. Christopher is again invited to perform as principal trumpet in Cambodia with the orchestra in October 2011. As a versatile trumpet player, Christopher performs in concert with pop artist, Jeff Chang, Frances Yip and Tay KeWei. A musician with Summertimes Big Band, Christopher performed in the Mediacorps Festival 2010, La Dolce Vita Latin Fiesta, The Mosaic Festival 2011, Wedding, Christmas shows and Corporate events. Christopher can also be seen blowing, swinging and swaying with samba, Hiphop and funk music with Nuovo Bloco in the Youth Olympic Games 2010. Christopher also recorded with local Indie Bands, Pop and Rock bands like the band Typewriter's album "Indian Head Massage". Christopher has up to 5 years of teaching experience in the art of trumpet playing and have taught schools like, Maha Bodhi School, Commonwelath Secondary, Fajar Secondary School, Hougang Secondary School. Peirce Secondary School, Regent Secondary School, Shu Qun Secondary School. Signapore Chinese Girls School. Whitley Secondary School, Anderson JC, Jurong JC, Saint Andrew JC and Temasek Polytechnic.
